8 years ago january 2016 didi’s father died at 61 years old after 1 year or cancer. This happened after we already burried his mother when she was 48 and didi 24 years old. Since that moment we took a different approach to life and started to rethink our very materialistic norma and values that couldn’t save both of his parents. Were we still living the life that we wanted to live? The answer is no so after a didi’s huge burnout we decided to change life and live a minimalistic traveling nomad lifestyle while supporting the ultimate peaceful revolution BITCOIN!

How? By selling all our belongings and go ALL-IN Bitcoin. That is how the whole adventured started.

2013 – 2014

This is the moment Didi’s attention was first drawn to Bitcoin. He started mining bitcoin in a 30m2 office with a group of friends. When BTC crashed from $1200 to $200 in 2014 they started mining Dogecoin. He directly understood at that time that BTC was goin to change the financial possibilities for all people and that it would be a peacefull revolution against the financial centralisation that was taking place in the world. The gap between rich and poor and those rich getting more and more control was clearly not in line with the future we wanted for our kids as a family.

2015 – 2016

Didi’s father Johnny Taihuttu was diagnosed with cancer in december 2014 and had one more year to live. As a family in 2015 we went living back down in the souterain of his fathers house and spend that last year with him. After his dad died in January 2016, the funeral etc took it’s toll and Didi faced a huge burnout. That was the moment we decided that we needed to change life and booked our flights to thailand to start a 3 month trip that now turned out to be a never ending decentralised nomad lifestyle.

Lore Olivas contacted me to ask if I ever wrote a text for a song. I said yes I wrote something last year during a walk but didn’t know it it was any good. I send her the text and tried to sing the song a bit so she understood which vibe it was and she took that and turned it into this amazing song.
