The idea

As a believer in peaceful anarchy, I am convinced that a society free of centralized authority can lead to greater individual freedom, prosperity, and social harmony. And now, with the advent of Bitcoin and blockchain technology, I believe that peaceful anarchy is closer than ever to becoming a reality.

Bitcoin and blockchain are decentralized systems that operate on a peer-to-peer network, without the need for intermediaries such as banks or governments. These systems allow for secure, transparent, and immutable transactions that cannot be manipulated or censored by any central authority.

In a peaceful anarchy, individuals are free to make their own decisions and engage in voluntary exchanges with one another. Bitcoin and blockchain technology facilitate these exchanges without the need for intermediaries, making it easier for individuals to transact with one another directly.

Moreover, Bitcoin and blockchain technology can also enable the creation of decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs), which are self-governing entities that operate on a decentralized network. These organizations can make decisions through consensus mechanisms that ensure all stakeholders have a say in the decision-making process, without the need for a centralized authority to impose its will on the organization.

By leveraging the power of Bitcoin and blockchain technology, individuals can create a society that is free of centralized authority and based on voluntary exchanges and decentralized decision-making. This kind of society would promote individual freedom, encourage innovation and creativity, and foster social harmony by removing the incentives for violence and coercion.

Of course, there are still significant challenges to overcome before peaceful anarchy can become a reality. These include overcoming the entrenched power of centralized authorities, convincing a critical mass of individuals to adopt decentralized technologies, and ensuring that the system remains secure and resilient in the face of potential attacks.

How the Governments would change

If peaceful anarchy based on Bitcoin and blockchain technology were to become a reality, it would fundamentally transform the way politics operates. Traditional political systems are based on the idea that power should be centralized in the hands of a select few, who make decisions on behalf of the rest of the population. However, a society based on peaceful anarchy would be decentralized, with decision-making power distributed among individuals and communities.

In such a society, political power would be diffused and decentralized, and there would be no central authority with the power to make decisions on behalf of the entire population. Instead, individuals would have more direct control over their lives and the decisions that affect them. Decisions would be made through decentralized consensus mechanisms, with individuals and communities coming together to make decisions that affect them.

Moreover, peaceful anarchy based on Bitcoin and blockchain technology would also challenge the very idea of traditional political parties and institutions. In a decentralized society, there would be no need for political parties to compete for centralized power. How the banking system would change

A society based on peaceful anarchy and powered by Bitcoin and blockchain technology would also challenge the current monetary system and the power of central banks.

In a traditional monetary system, central banks have the power to control the supply and distribution of money, as well as to influence interest rates and inflation. This centralized control over the monetary system can often lead to issues such as inflation, wealth inequality, and economic instability.

However, in a decentralized society based on peaceful anarchy and Bitcoin, the power to create and distribute money would be decentralized, with no single entity or authority controlling the money supply. Bitcoin, as a decentralized digital currency, operates outside the control of central banks and governments, and allows for secure and transparent transactions without the need for intermediaries.

Moreover, the blockchain technology that underlies Bitcoin allows for the creation of new types of decentralized financial systems, such as decentralized exchanges and lending platforms, which can operate without the need for traditional financial intermediaries such as banks.

By enabling individuals to transact directly with one another without intermediaries, Bitcoin and blockchain technology can also promote financial inclusion and reduce the power of centralized financial institutions. This can help to reduce wealth inequality and increase access to financial services for individuals who have traditionally been excluded from the financial system.

Conclusion

Overall, a society based on peaceful anarchy and Bitcoin would challenge the current monetary system and the power of central banks, promoting greater decentralization, transparency, and financial inclusion. For the past 50 years around the world individuals and countries have been embracing the technological revolution that is microelectronics, it brought employment and wealth to those countries that recognised the effect of its use, those countries that developed the hardware of the technical revolution and gained on the education of their population on the engine that drove that hardware, the code & software writers. Their early understanding of how technology was going to change everything for everyone, it would change what we did, how we worked, and how we entertained ourselves, it made the countries of the far east (China, Korea, Japan, Taiwan) the countries they are today, all in the space of 50 years, countries that where inwardly agricultural based and rural economies.

The countries that embrace this coming Crypto revolution will make the largest gains in the next 30 years. The countries that open their boarders and their minds to the growing Crypto & blockchain communities will gain a march over those Countries that legislate and tax at draconian levels. Portugal has so much to offer those in the crypto communities; it’s not just YouTube influencers. It ranges from software companies like Metaverse and game builders with yearly fiscal turnovers that exceed major Hollywood studios to financial business with more customers than many Portuguese banks. And that’s just the crypto companies digitising the existing business world. Then there are the new start up companies developing tech that is yet to make its mark, but rest assured, they will and their presence will be felt all over the word, in industries and businesses from logistics to art, entertainment, E-commerce, healthcare and real estate. All promoting transparency and decentralisation in every facet of business and day to day life.

California and San Francisco has already started to lose many of its large established software and technological companies who are as we speak looking for Crypto friendly Countries to move their businesses. These companies will look for environments that match what they have now, but with a progressive legislator, that is stable, and offers a work force with a good level of education. Many may think that those American companies would look to South America and countries like El Salvador or Mexico. While these countries may show willing, there will probably be a reluctance to move south of the boarder by the owners fo the companies. The only other way is North and Canada, a lovely country but cold and for a work force that is fundamentally made up of millennials & Gen Y.1, Canada is nice to go and snow board, but they choose to work in California for the sun and life style and that’s what the workforce wants.

Portugal has a major advantages over South America as its SAFE & Stable and with the right legal attitude toward Crypto it could be so tempting to both owners and workers to move to all areas of Portugal, bringing investment, employment, future prosperity and stability to Portugal. Crypto & blockchain has already shown that it is going to do to all businesses what Uber did to taxis or the email to post offices etc.

The political parties that see what crypto & blockchain can do for Portugal will need to make the “Tax burden” 0 or close to zero and if the Politician’s do their job with diligence and foresight Portugal could become the epic centre of not only Crypto but a major location in Neo Banking as well.

There is a saying, “You only get one chance to make a first impression”. Portugal you owe it to your children and children’s children to open your arms, minds & hearts to Bitcoin, cryptocurrency and blockchain, as you are the ones that will have to tell them why you didn’t when you had the chance!

This is the main reason why we moved to Portugal as we told to CNBC. We want to be part of this amazing evolution in technology in a country with amazing people, weather, food etc like I shared on twitter.

In the last year we have been working on a new DUTCH documentary about bitcoin and blockchain. This one is going live the 21st of October 2021 on the Videoland platform which is considered the Netflix of the Netherlands with more than 2 million subscribers!!

The documentary is made by June te Spenke and she discovers the whole Bitcoin industry through the eyes of crypto enthusiast and famous dutch people.

Bitcoin millionaires, bull markets, ‘to the moon’, altcoins, hodl and pump & dump, these are just a few terms that will sound familiar to crypto holders but will raise the eyebrows of others. The trading in crypto coins has in any case already provided an addition to our vocabulary in recent years, but what should we do with this hype and what are the dangers and the possibilities? Videoland decided to take a closer look at the crypto market and will launch a four-part docuseries from October 21: Crypto Koorts (crypto fever).

-What led you to decide to “give up” everything and live only with Bitcoin?

I lost my mother when I was 24 and she was 48 at that time. I couldn’t face the emotions so I became a workaholic and started to build my own company. I Became a very materialistic guy that wanted to have everything and in a way neglected the family life because of this. When my father called me around Christmas 2014 and told me he was diagnosed with cancer and had one more year to live my world crashed. I decided to spend as much as possible time in 2015 with my family and father so I hired a manager to run the companies. My father died in January 2016 and after organising the inheritance and funeral etc I got a burn out. I decided to take a break with the family and travel for a few months. Those few months changed in the life we are living now. When a friend called me in Bali in jan 2017 to check my BTC and Doge coins I realised that the revolution was starting and my entrepreneurship told me I wanted to be part of this huge change in the world. I asked my wife what she thought of going all-in BTC.

-What did the rest of the family think?

At first it was a shock and she didn’t believe me but when I sold my cars online and bought BTC for that she started to believe me. We both agreed that we had been living a crazy too materialistic life and spoiled our kids too much. We needed to change life and teach our kids that money is not the most important thing in life. Living and doing what makes you happy is the most important thing. We decided the only way to teach our kids this is to show it. You can tell it your kids but they will only understand it when you do it yourself as well. So we decided to go for it, flew home, sold the house etc and went all-in.

-During your stay in Spain, how have you seen the Bitcoin panorama and what have been the greatest advantages and disadvantages that you have found in the country?

The biggest advantage is that you can buy bitcoins in more than 20.000 stores because of Bitnovo which is amazing. Buying bitcoins with cash at a Hyperber, carrefour, Fnac etc is crazy cool and simplifying it for people to buy BTC. I don’t think there are many countries in the world where you can buy bitcoins in a grocery store, hahaha. The biggest disadvantage is that I haven’t found many places that really accept bitcoin as a payment. I found a few restaurants and a comic book store in Benidorm for example but in average the adoption can be better. I do think this will change as the crypto community in Spain is awesome and organising many informative evenings etc. Of course now during the flu situation there were not many conferences etc but normally Spain hosts amazing crypto and blockchain conferences. Also very cool is that Spain is hosting some amazing crypto projects like socios yes I am the proud owner of Barca tokens Yeahhhh and Bitsa (the only crypto debit card for the youth from 14 years old).

-The greengrocers on the corner or the nearest supermarket do not usually accept BTC, to pay for services and food, have you had to change to fiat currency?

Yes of course most of them sell bitcoin but don’t accept bitcoin directly as a payment. I do ask it of course every time agin and again and I can see in the reactions more and more people now know what bitcoin is. 3 years ago if you asked it at a greengrocer they looked at you like wtf is bitcoin hahaha We mostly buy online coupons at bitrefill for example that you than ca use to pay or pay with our crypto debit cards like Bitsa or Crypto-com. But again I think this will change in the future as more and more people will understand that Bitcoin is here to stay and not only a safe have for if the economy will collapse but also usable as a payment tool. For us its a game to find creative ways to not use the traditional monetary system but I also realise that these crypto debit cards we sometimes need to use are not the true plan of Bitcoin but will be a step in between to the creation of a new monetary system.

-How do you deal with Bitcoin price declines?

Not, hahah you just get used too these fluctuations. At the same time we are no materialistic family and have no fear for the future. If BTC crashed to 0, we will be bankrupt and start over again with a new adventure in life. Life needs to be an adventure and not a boring hamster wheel ride. You learn to play the game and when bitcoin dips we hedge into stable currencies and buy bitcoin back cheaper. Trading is one of the income sources for our family.

-Had you already started your adventure when the great fall of BTC in 2017, after 20k? If so, how did they cope?

We just went with the flow and lived a minimalistic life with no focus on wealth but family. If you don’t need a lot of money every month why would you bother about what you have in the long term. Life can go fast and we choose to enjoy life today and not worry about tomorrow.

-Have you ever lost faith in Bitcoin?

No Never, even gained more trust!! The longer Bitcoin exists and is non stop 24/7 up online, not hacked etc. Name one other asset/company that has been non stop running for 11 years 24/7 without one single failure.

-What are your predictions for the price of Bitcoin in the short term and in relation to the recent halving? And in the long term?

I think we are in the bull market and now in the part of the cycle that will take bitcoin to a new ATH. No this won’t happen tomorrow but in the next 18 months we will see a new ATH. If I need to give a number let’s say 20k at Christmas end of 2021 between 50k to 200k. It all depends on the macro economics etc. If our governments keep printing money, more and more money will flow into BTC. Understand that the generation X and Boomers (both generations that hold most of the money) , will hedge into BTC as the new gold. They want to protect their capital and have been using gold for this for a very long time but you can see they are shifting to BTC more and more!! If you Talk long time as in 10 years, yes I believe we will fly to the moon!!

-What do you think is the best way to boost the adoption of Bitcoin?

It’s difficult to push people as most people don’t liked to be pushed. It will happen naturally as the world economy is slowly collapsing and people will search for more privacy. I think it will happen in this way:
1) Governments are creating centralised forms of cryptocurrency like the CBDC or the Digital Yuan
2) Government will make the world cashless
3) Everybody will only use digital forms of payment and realise the lost their complete privacy by using these centralised cryptos
4) people will search for privacy currencies and decentralised in opposite to the by governments created centralised ones.
5) Now they understand the power of BTC, DASH, XMR, LTC and all the other cryptos that provide them of the privacy they were used to have with the cash money we now use daily.

Yes this will take some time but every big change in the world takes time.

-Have you ever used another cryptocurrency? which?

Yes many, LTC, XVG, XMR, DASH, BCH
We use any crypto that is accepted in stores to buy what we need. We support the whole crypto industry!

-How did you explain to the little girls of the house what Bitcoin is?

In the beginning I just told them it’s a combination of gold and cash money that will give the poor kids in the world the same chances they had as kids. Kids spend more and more time in in digital worlds like MineCraft and Roblox etc where they use Robux ( a digital form of money) The grow up with digital tokens and understand the power of this huge social economic change.

-How has COVID affected you when using bitcoin?

To be honest I don’t really believe that COVID is a killer virus. It is just a flu like we had many and this will show in the numbers after a year. As we all know most of the people they now register as a Covid death, died because they had another decease as well. The amount of people that really died solely because of Covid is way lower than the totals you see in the news. I feel very sorry for all the people that have died or lost family but I also feel very sorry for of 3 million children that die every year because of poor nutrition and hunger. That’s nearly half of all deaths in children under the age of 5. Globally, 822 million people suffer from undernourishment.

“ If printing money is so easy, why don’t we print a shitload of money to safe those people from dying out of hunger?”

Covid has not changed the use of bitcoin for us but I think it has contributed to the need of cryptocurrencies in other parts of the world. People needed to send money while in lockdown and the cost of use of western union compared to crypto is huge! It did affect our travel plans but we are creative and always find solution. Thats one of the advantages of not owning a house etc, you can always move to a place that fits your life better or where you don’t need to wear a facemask while walking through town.

-Of all the places you have been, which one have you had the best experience and ease when using BTC?

The best use of crypto till now I found in Rovereto Italy and BTC city in Ljubljana Slovenia. In those two towns I can completely live on direct bitcoin payment for literally everything we need as a family. Hi All, yes I know it’s a long time ago I wrote an article but the kids are just taking all my time and I need to do my yoga etc as well huh hihihi. I wanted to write something because I really like what happened a few weeks ago with Didi. I saw that Didi was feeling bored staying in one place during lockdown in Thailand what probably sparked the fire in him to start and make daily videos. I am really happy he is doing this as we and the family really needed a YouTube break after making so much videos without seeing result. Now in 28 days time we are finally able to monetise our channel and start to use the profit to share it with the people that need it. Since Didi has been making these daily videos our channel has been growing tremendously. We grew from 1800 subscribers to 4500 subs and from a few thousand views a month to more than 60,000 views per month.

He has set his next goal to 10,000 subscribers and 111,000 views per month so let’s see if he can do it, to be honest I am not even doubting he will because when he starts to run he hardly stops hihihi!! It’s unbelievable to see how Didi is now fully focused on making these video daily but it I also need to stop him now and then and tell him joehoe you also have a family hihihi. We will still make some family videos as well of course. Tonight we will post a video of a amazing day at the Koh Phangan Challenge. That was really fun, even when I hit that red ball with my face hihi. I will list a few videos Didi created that I watched and really like as he combined life, nature and bitcoin into them which makes it easy watchable content for everyone.

Covid-19 Lockdown Thailand & New Video’s Online

Yes we are in lockdown in Thailand but we call it locked down in paradise as Didi likes to put it. Yes it’s terrible that we lose part of our freedom but some things in life just happen and you go with the flow. It has no use to swim upstream if you can swim downstream. We rented an amazing hippy style beach house in Chaloklum where every kid has her own room, romaine has her balcony for yoga and Didi his hammock on the beach hahaha. Check our Instagram to see pictures of the place! Oh yeah we are also babysitting two little dogs now so let us know what you think about them. They are called Declan and Kyra and are so sweeeeeet.

New daily Youtube Video’s

To keep you up to date about our life in Thailand, Didi started to make daily videos since our Covid19 lockdown in Thailand. The videos are about Bitcoin, Blockchain, what’s happening in the world and our lives. Didi really likes the morning walk on the beach and he just one day started to combine them with recording videos.

Our YouTube channel has grown tremendously since he started these video so we would love you to subscribe to our channel. The goal is to monetize the YouTube channel so we can start to share that profit with ngo’s and poor people all over the world.

What happened to the sharing is caring tour?

At the moment we are not sure if we can continue the tour because of the worldwide situation. Many countries closed the borders and economically many countries will have huge problems the coming year. At the same time our sponsors are having some problems as well because of the crisis which all combined makes it very difficult to continue the sharingiscaring tour at the moment. We are very sad about this and miss our Bitcoin van that now is parked in Bulgaria and not flying to the moon with us.

What now?

As we are stuck on Koh Phangan Didi of course found another opportunity to become part of an amazing project called HouseOfDao.io This is a Digital Nomad Co working and living community thats being set up on Koh Phangan with the goal to support the creating of technology solutions to improve the world. It will be a place where people can live and work. See it as an amusement park whey you can join yoga, meditation, ecstatic dance, healing and mindset sessions, eat healthy food and at the same time use multiple co-working spaces with amazing views or join network events and/or conferences organized by the House Of Dao.

We will try to keep you guys more uptimes to date by writing these blogs a bit more often hahaha, but for now just enjoy the videos didi is making daily and please subscribe to the YouTube channel. Thanks and speak to you all soon !

Happy place

Some places you just feel better then other places. It may sound strange but I really think it has to do with the energies at those places. Often when you visit a place where a lot of happy people are you feel more happy as well. Is it the beach, the sea or sun or is it a invisible energy that connects us all.

I really don’t know what the reason is but I have just accepted that those places are around. For me 2 of those places are Koh Phangan and Bali. Both Islands have a special vibe that gives me that extra zen feeling. Yes I hear all the gurus saying now but you need to be able to feel zen everywhere in the world. Sure but if you are not there yet it’s more easy to reach that status in a place where you feel more relaxed.

The same counts for making changes in life. I see many people struggling with this at the moment and they all try and want to change but it’s just too damn hard for them. The first thing people think is that it’s financial not possible while it often is just getting your priorities straight. The second problem for them is to break the circle at home because they are afraid of the reactions of their friends and family or they get sucked back by the people around them. All above often makes them quickly fall back in running the same circle day after day because it is more convenient and feels safe.

You can do this for a few times but there will be a time that your body will tell you to stop fooling yourself and that it now is really time to change. Why would you wait till that time if you internally feel it is the right thing to do now.

I was forced by my body through a Burnout and for me the solution was a trip of 3 months to an island where I could reset and rethink life. During that time you will feel if it feels different and if it’s more easy for you to reach that status of zen. Many people don’t even know the zen feeling so how would they want to reach something they don’t know what it is ? In an new relaxed place you will feel how it feels to be yourself without all those friends and repeating routines at home. You will learn to listen and understand your body, mind and soul. When you master to be zen on a relaxed island you can take at a step further and try to master it in a more difficult place like home.

I often compare it with football. If you need to take the decisive penalty kick in a stadium filled with 100.000 screaming people it’s helps when you have practiced it on a quiet neighborhood football court first.

2019 was an amazing and very beautifull but also hectic year. Thats why we have decided to visit a place where we as a family feel amazing, the food is healthy, the beaches and sea are beautiful and where we can meet many same minded people. After these 2 months we will continue the tour with our rebranded Bitmobile from Bulgaria, to Montenegro , Albania, Greece etc.
